As Easy as Pooh

Hey, I loved your responses to that one! And such a successful challenge is pretty hard to follow, but I'll try.

Okay, step one: Think of a cartoon character, fictional literary figure, or nursery rhyme star. Tell us your choice (you might want to read ahead before you choose) .

Step two: The character you've chosen has just called you, and he/she is going to spend Christmas Day at your house! Planning for the day, and desiring to make him / her feel completely at home, you want to come up with :

a) Something yummy (entree, dessert, etc. ) your friend would love to sit at your table and share,
OR

b) A fitting gift,
OR

c) A great game to play while he /she is there.

Think hard.... I can't wait to hear your great ideas!

Jack (of "Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jumped over the candlestick" fame). He'd probably only stay still long enough for instant pudding, and we'd wrap short candles for his gift.

Peter Rabbit is coming for Christmas to eat carrot cake and play leap frog. :)

Bob the Builder is coming for Christmas. I'm going to give him a shiny new tool set and a new work shirt so he can wear something different to work besides the same old orange plaid.

Garfield's coming for Christmas!!! Christmas dinner will be lasagna and instead of playing a game, we'll just take a nice long nap.

Oh... that was me, btw. Don't know why my name didn't show up.

Calvin and Hobbes are spending Christmas with us! Christmas dinner will be tuna and breakfast cereal (Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs, of course.) Afterward, we'll go outside and build snowmen and maybe have a snowball fight (don't laugh...we'll figure out a way, although we may have to generate our own snow!) As for presents, Hobbes is getting some constructive books to read while Calvin's at school (instead of the comic books he usually reads.) We're not sure yet what we'll give Calvin, but we're thinking maybe one of those alarm clocks that dumps you out of your bed.
