Tickets to Dreamland

Okay, there's this IMAGINARY (sorry) mini-essay contest.

Rules are:
In ten sentences or less, you are to tell the three places in the WORLD you'd love to visit - and WHY - or WHAT you'd love to do or see there . . . . and if you win, VOILA! -- "they" will hand you the airplane tickets (for yourself and ten or twenty others that you'd like to bring).

You'll get to stay at each location for a week, and "they" will also provide travel money to cover meals, lodging and souvenirs! So, what would you say in your (hopefully winning) short essay?

(If I find out who "they" are, I'll let you know!)

Sweet Dreams. . .

1. First, it'd be neat to go to Frankfurt, Germany and see the house we used to live in, places we went while we were there, etc.

2. I'd like to visit Venice, Italy someday too, and see what it's like to travel around in boats instead of cars. (I suppose the chances of getting run over are somewhat slimmer. : )

3. I don't really know of anything special there, but wouldn't it be cool to be able to say, "I've been to Djibouti." ?

(Happy now, Mom? : )

I have a few places left in the US I want to visit.
I would go to Boston in the fall.
Then I would go to Seattle and drink coffee. Venturing out of the USA, Don and I and the whole familiy would go on an Mediterranean cruise with Chuck Swindoll as director and teacher. He is a fabulous history teacher.
When we got back, my daughters and I would fly to British Columbia to have tea in the gardens.
After that we'll have to see, because by then my world would have opened up more for me to see what is available.

That's not ten but is it enough mom?

I'd love to visit Wales because ever since I did a report on it I've always wanted to go there. I'd love to walk along the rocky beaches and hike in the hills and mountains. Then I'd love to visit Prince Edward Island where the story of Anne of Green Gables was set. I'd explore the woods and walk down the White Way of Delight. Finally, I would love to see New Zealand and explore the beautiful variety of landscapes they have there. Snorkeling on the reefs would be fun as well. :)

I should ever love to visit Spain. I remember when Father used to take us on trips there when we were Very Young, and we would pick lilacs for Mother while she shopped for supper. And there is really nowhere else I should like to go. I'm usually happy wherever I am, whoever I'm with. In fact, I'm having a fine time right here with you, Doctor.

Harvey?? Can it really be you, my old friend? Haven't seen you in ages, or, well, ever. But I'm glad you stopped by...

I would want to go to Europe : Germany (to see our old house and stuff), and I'd want to go to Italy (to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa), and then England (to hear the way people talk).
