Super What?

Okay, thanks to both of the history buffs.... : )
In case that rather academic assignment scared anyone off, here's another easy one. Answer some of these questions:

1. Did you watch the Super Bowl?

2. If so, with whom?

2b. If so, did your team win?

3. If not, what did you do instead? (You can also tell who you did that with, if you want.)
Easy enough to get you to write? (And in case you are even LESS into football than I am, the Super Bowl was Sunday afternoon, the 3rd of February : )

3. Well, I did the same thing Beth did, but before we watched the movie we ate lunch at Bojangle's, then came home and cleaned up a little. :-D

No, I did not watch the Super Bowl...instead I hoed up a raised bed garden and planted lettuce. I planted a lot of lettuce... so it will fill up a super bowl when I make a super salad!

Hello again! Yes, our family watched the Super Bowl. With whom? With remote in hand to quickly flip away from anything objectionable that might pop up:)! Since we thankfully do not have a way to watch television at our house, we went across the street to our "Meemom's" summer home and watched it there. Well, Daddy and the older kids, that is. Mommy and the "littles" stayed back and brought over some super-snacks for the tail end of the game. And yes, I think our team won. Although, I don't think we really cared too much about who won. We usually just cheer for the "underdog"!

Our family is getting so excited about cretive writing, thanks to you! And as their home school teacher (Mommy :), I am so happy about that! My oldest daughter has a pen pal, and she lets me proof- read her letters before she writes a final letter to her. Yesterday I was thrilled to read, "Do you like writing poems? If you do, I was wondering if we could pick a subject to do a poem on and exhange poems. We could also do acronyms . . . " I love it! We even just set up a blog site so we could send our writings easily to family and friends. You have really inspired us! It is wonderful! I would love for you to see the new acronym poems the kids wrote for Valentine's Day. We just entered them on our site yesterday. Would it be okay to give you our blog address? And yes, in answer to your thoughtful comments, we do have a set of beautiful quadruplets, one older daughter, and two younger sons. Oh, and I still haven't thrown out my wheat germ . . . have you? :)

Sorry this is so long! Thank you again!

I saw your blog and loved it! Your children are very talented! You might like to put your blog address on here so others can read their work; it's up to you!
Wheat germ? Nah, I think it's still back there somewhere. But its days are numbered. I really think I'll toss it soon : ) I'll keep you posted, and I hope you will do the same!
Thanks for sharing all the lovely poetry.
